Many people that go through successful deliverance (demons are cast out) often struggle with overcoming certain thoughts, behaviors and patterns in their life. These thoughts, behaviors and patterns are the result of what we call demonic wiring of the mind. Many of our thoughts, behaviors and patterns come from programming we receive from our parents, friends and our environment. These patterns, behaviors and thoughts are rooted in our subconscious mind. While in our conscious mind we make decisions, our unconscious mind is the driving force that drives our decisions in the conscience mind. If your parents had or have demons, then more than likely their programing is demonic as well, and has affected your behaviors, thoughts and patterns. For example, negative patterns produce children that are also negative. Parents with the mentality of poverty, produce children that can never become anything because their programming doesn't allow them to think they can escape poverty. The Bible tells us that we reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7-9). Unfortunately, most of our behaviors and decision making are the result of years of parental programming. Demons love this, because they are familiar with the programming of the mind. These types of thoughts, behaviors and patterns are seen in many families over generations. This is because they are influenced by familiar spirits, spirits that are familiar with a family's bloodline. The purpose of the programing is to keep your mind in bondage, even after they have been cast out. This is referred to as a spiritual stronghold. This is done with the sole purpose that if the negative behavior or pattern continues to occur that they may be able to open a door and enter. The only way to break these negative thoughts, behaviors and patterns are through the use of the Bible. The scriptures are to be used to overcome these negative thoughts, behaviors and patterns. It is done by repetition of the scriptures over whatever negative thoughts, behaviors or patterns you are experiencing. These scriptures should be read over and over again until they are deeply rooted into your subconscious mind. Only then will these demonic stronghold be broken. This is what we call the re-wiring of the mind. Only then will you totally be free...and what the Lord sets free is free indeed.

Tattoos are more common than most people think. Some of them have deep meanings to the person that gets them. Others get them because they look cool. In our ministry we get many people that at one point or another in their life, have tattooed themselves. They think nothing of it. Keep in mind that these are Christians. 

As I write this article, I recall seeing so many people with tattoos of snakes, skulls  and demons. Unfortunately they don't know the damage that they are bringing upon themselves, unknowingly. 

The Bible clearly warns against against desecrating yourself or tattooing your body in the book of Leviticus chapter 19 verse 18. This is because the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians  6:19-20).  When you tattoos your body, you are desecrating the temple of God. 

We have many cases in which tattoos have been the opening to demons. For example, a person may innocently tattoos a skeleton into his shoulder could have inadvertently invited the demon of death to enter. The Virigin Mary is another popular tattoo that people get. They are inviting the spirit of Jezebel. I can give you hundreds of similar examples. Tattoos are open doors to demons, and they exploit them. 

Demons use tattoos as a way of branding their property (you). Like cowboys brand cattle. Demons claim a right to you based on the tattoos you placed on your body. And many times they manifest when we address peoples tattoos. 

IF YOU HAVE A TATTOOS:

If you have a tattoo, it's not too late for you. You can cancel the demonic claim and portal. You can also anoint the tattoo and command the door to be closed in Jesus name. The anointing oil must be blessed. 

If you are not experienced in spiritual warfare, I don't recommend you try this on your own. Have someone with you. The manifestations can be violent.

Manipulation and control are the most common way that people practice witchcraft.  You could be practicing witchcraft and not even know it.  Seduction is a common way that is used by both male and female to manipulate others.  This is done by using provocative dress, seductive speech or even denial of intimacy if the other person does not comply to the request of the manipulator.  Seduction used to obtain drinks, food and pretty much anything material is a form witchcraft. Pastors that manipulate or try to control their congregation are in fact practicing witchcraft. A common way a Pastor manipulates their congregation is by telling them that if they leave their church, bad things will happen. Every time a Pastor influences the congregation to do something out of the will of God, they are practicing witchcraft, whether knowingly or unknowingly.  People that claim to have supernatural powers to manipulate and controls others are in fact practicing Witcraft.  most of the time they are using familiar spirits that have been in their bloodline for generations.  This is also true with people that call themselves Prophets or Prophetess. Many of them manipulate their followers through so called prophecies.  Listen carefully to what they are prophesying. If its always evil, it's probably not from God. Finally, people that pray against others are practicing witchcraft. So are people that curse others. Are you practicing witchcraft? I hope not!

We have all read John 10:10, "The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." 

The driving force behind the thief (in this case the devil and his demons)  is his hatred towards you and God. There is no mercy in them, there's no negotiating with them.  Think of your worst enemy, think of the most evil thing you can imagine happening to you, and multiply that image by 100%. That's how they feel, and that's probably an underexaggerating. 

Demons need your body in order to fulfill their evil deeds and actions. They are persons without a body, so they need yours. When they are done with you, they will go on to their next unsuspecting victim, maybe a family member, your daughter or son. They have been doing this for thousands of years.  

The devil wants to steal. But what does the devil wants to steal from you?

1) He wants to steal your faith in God. 
2) He wants to steal your peace and place you in fear and torment. He wants chaos and disorder.
3) He want's to steal your security.
4) He wants to steal your ability to fellowship with other Christians.
5) He wants you to stray off your path.
6) he wants to steal your victories.
7) He wants to steal your destiny.
8) He wants to steal your innocence.

The devil wants to kill. Buy what does he want to kill?

1) He wants to literally kill you with sicknesses, illnesses, murder and accidents.
2) He wants to kill your love for God.
3) He wants to kill your love for family and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
4) He wants to kill your trust in the finish work of Christ on the cross: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
5) He wants to kill your ability to fulfill God's calling on your life. 
6) He wants to kill your ability to prosper in every area of your life.

The devil wants to destroy. What does the devil wants to destroy?

1) Your family
2) Your relationship with Jesus Christ.
3) Your finances
4) Your health
5) Every good thing given to you by God.
6) He wants to destroy the hierarchy of the family.
7) Your soul

All of these things, and many more evil things are the assignments given to demons by Satan. They have been doing the same thing for thousands of years, and they will continue to do so until someone stops them. Are you suffering from any of the above?  Do you want your children to be demon free? 

Jesus Christ has given us authority to cast out demons (Mark 16:17, and Luke 10:19). Demons must be confronted and told to leave. The reason why many Christians and their children are in bondage, is because their Pastor has lied to  them. The truth is they are afraid and do not know what to do when confronted by a demon. Unfortunately, the devil has done a great a job fooling people into believing Christian can't have demons.  There is no scripture in the Bible that states that Christians cannot have demons. I challenge you to find one. 

The ability to live the life that Christ wants for you is a phone call or email away. Praying more, reading your Bible more, ignoring the torment and pain are not ways of getting rid of demons. Jesus commanded His disciples to cast out demons and heal the sick. He did not say, if you see a demon tell the person to pray more, read the Bible more, or tithe more. In Luke 7:1-10 we read the story of how Jesus heals the Centurian. The Centurian understood the concept of authority and Jesus attributed it as faith. What can we learn from the Centurian's faith and understanding of authority?

1) Takes faith to reach out for help.
2) The Centurian understood who Jesus was and what Jesus could do.
3) The Centurian understood the authority of Christ.
4) The Centurian understood what a person of authority can do- They delegate and things happen without them being present. 
5) The Centurian understood that Jesus could heal his servant. 
6) The Centurian understood that by Jesus speaking it, his servant will be healed.

Jesus Christ has delegated to us the authority to cast out demons in His name.  The person receiving ministry does not have to be present to receive ministry, just like the Centurian's servant didn't have to be present to receive healing. Many people are jumping from one deliverance minister to another because they cannot get deliverance. If you are one of those that are doing that, then I think you should consider the following.

1) People that have deep wounds from the past, (abuse, rape, abandonment, rejection, molestation and many others) , must have their wounds healed before they can be freed from demons. If you are suffering from deep pain, more than likely you need inner healing before you can be set free. Demons like to hide behind that pain. Inner healing is a supernatural way in which Jesus Christ heals the persons' pain. Inner healing is used when other types of therapy has failed (therapist, psychologist and psychiatrist).

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

2) People that have suffered abuse of any kind in their childhood, may have developed an alter personality. The alter may prevent the person from getting free from demons. Every alter has a demon behind it. So we must deal with the alter to get to the demons. A well trained deliverance minister is able to deal with alters, and cut the demons off the alters. In addition, because of the abuse often associated with the development of an alter, inner healing must take place.

Below is a list of common demonic access points. This is not an exhaustive list, but it covers the most common doors.

1) Embracing Sin: 

When we justify and embrace sin, we come into agreement with the devil (Ephesians 4:26-27). 

2) Traumatic Experiences: 

- Being sinned against - especially when we are young - can open a door (e.g. rejection, abuse).
-Other traumatic experiences can open the door (e.g. accidents, divorce, fearful events).

3) Believing the lies of the enemy: When we believe a lie, we come into agreement with the devil who is the "Father of Lies." (see John 8:44)

4) Un-forgiveness: 

Unforgiveness fives the devil legal right to torment us (Matthew 18: 21-35), 

5) Exposure to unholy things:

Being exposed to unholy things can open a door to the devil (pornography, horror movies, dark music). 

6) Involvement in false religion, cults, and false teachings:

Behind every idol is a demon (Corinthians 10:19-20).
False teaching carries with is demonic spirit (2 Corinthians 11:4, 1 Timothy 4:11). 

7) Any occult involvement:

Occult: (hidden or secret arts). Contact with the occult is major open door to the demonic and is strictly forbidden in scripture (Deuteronomy 18:9-12).

8) Curses:

Generational Curses (E.g. Alcoholism, abuse, suicide, drugs)
Word Curses and negative word curses (James 3:8-10)
Occult Curses- Curses/spells placed by those in the occult.

9) Ungodly relationships / souls ties:

Spiritual / soulish / fleshly bonds created through ungodly sexual relationships (1 Corinthians 6:16) 
Unhealthy relationshipsthat involve control, manipulation, intimidation, or abuse.
