Recently, The Times of India reported a horrifying case in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, where a 32-year-old woman was raped repeatedly under the pretext of exorcism. The perpetrator claimed to be delivering her from evil spirits but instead exploited her vulnerability for his own wicked desires. This tragic event is not just a crime—it is a perversion of what true deliverance ministry is meant to be.
Deliverance Is Not Abuse Biblical deliverance is centered on Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. Scripture makes it clear that the power to set the captives free comes only through Him:
Warning Signs of a False Deliverance Minister Sadly, cases like the one in India remind us that not everyone claiming to do deliverance is truly sent by God. Here are red flags to watch for:
What happened in Rewa is a stark reminder that the enemy often disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). The devil will use impostors to discredit the true ministry of deliverance and to harm God’s people. As ministers, we must condemn such evil acts and stand for the purity of Christ’s work. As believers, we must be wise and discerning, testing the spirits to see whether they are from God (1 John 4:1). Deliverance is real. Freedom in Christ is real. But so are the dangers of wolves who prey on the vulnerable. Stay alert, stay in the Word, and keep your eyes on Jesus—the only true Deliverer. Deliverance ministry is a powerful and essential part of the Christian walk—Jesus Himself cast out demons and gave His disciples the authority to do the same (Mark 16:17). However, not every person experiences full deliverance during their first session. This can be discouraging, but understanding the reasons why this occurs is crucial for both ministers and those seeking freedom. Here are some key biblical and spiritual insights to help explain why deliverance may not happen immediately.
1. Lack of Genuine Repentance and Renunciation of Sin: Deliverance begins with repentance. The Word of God teaches us that harboring sin gives the enemy legal grounds (Ephesians 4:27). If an individual refuses to let go of certain sins or does not fully renounce occult involvement, soul ties, or sinful behaviors, the demons may remain. James 4:7 – “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Key Point: Submission to God is a prerequisite for resisting the devil. Without repentance and full surrender, freedom cannot be enforced. 2. Hidden or Unconfessed Legal Rights: Demons operate through legal rights. These may include:
Proverbs 26:2 – “Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest.” Key Point: Identifying and removing legal rights is often a process, not a one-time event. 3. Need for Inner Healing Before Deliverance: Some individuals are deeply wounded emotionally or psychologically due to abuse, abandonment, or trauma. In such cases, deliverance cannot be forced. The Holy Spirit may prioritize healing the heart before casting out demons. Luke 4:18 – “He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted…” Key Point: A person must be strengthened and stabilized before full deliverance is possible. 4. Dissociation or Fragmented Soul: In complex cases, individuals may experience dissociation (such as alternate personalities, also known as "alters"). These fragmented parts of the soul often carry pain, fear, or are stuck in traumatic events. Deliverance cannot be complete until the soul is made whole through integration and healing. Psalm 23:3 – “He restores my soul…” Key Point: Healing dissociation is a spiritual and emotional process that takes time and patience. 5. Demonic Resistance or Strongholds: Sometimes demons simply refuse to leave easily. This may be due to:
Key Point: Deliverance can be a spiritual battle that may require fasting, persistence, and multiple sessions. 6. Lack of Discipleship and Spiritual Maturity: Some individuals come for deliverance but are not ready to maintain it. Jesus warned: Matthew 12:43–45 – “When an impure spirit comes out of a person… it returns… and the final condition of that person is worse than the first.” Deliverance without discipleship and obedience to Christ can be dangerous. It’s important the person is discipled, rooted in the Word, and connected to a church before full deliverance is completed. 7. It’s a Process, Not a One-Time Event: Deliverance is not always instant. Like peeling an onion, the Holy Spirit may bring freedom layer by layer. Each session removes something deeper. Philippians 1:6 – “…He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” Key Point: Deliverance is often progressive, not immediate. Be patient with the process. Don’t Give Up: If you or someone you minister to didn’t receive full deliverance during the first session, don’t be discouraged. God is faithful, and He desires freedom for His children. Continue the process with faith, fasting, forgiveness, and obedience. God’s timing is perfect, and He will complete the work He began. ✝️ Need Help? www.deliverancexorcisms.com In deliverance ministry, one of the most cunning and destructive spirits we confront is Asmodeus, often referred to as the demon of lust. This powerful principality works tirelessly to corrupt the soul, destroy marriages, and enslave individuals to perversion and sexual immorality. Asmodeus is not just a mythological figure or fictional character; he is a real demonic presence whose influence is evident in the growing sexual depravity and confusion in today’s world. Who is Asmodeus? The name Asmodeus appears in ancient Jewish texts, most notably in the Book of Tobit (part of the Apocrypha), where he is portrayed as a demon who kills the husbands of Sarah before they can consummate their marriage. He is traditionally associated with lust, jealousy, and vengeance—especially in romantic or sexual relationships. While not named in the canonical Bible, the spirit of lust and sexual corruption that Asmodeus embodies is addressed extensively in Scripture. Jesus warned in Matthew 5:28: "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart." The Works of Asmodeus Asmodeus operates under the kingdom of darkness as a strongman of lust. His tactics include:
This spirit enslaves both men and women through unclean soul ties, defiling dreams, and obsessive thoughts. Often, those under Asmodeus’ influence feel deep shame and guilt, yet struggle to break free, even when they are believers. Biblical Signs of His Influence Some signs that a person may be under the influence of Asmodeus include:
The Goal of Asmodeus: Destruction Asmodeus comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). His goal is to pollute the temple of the Holy Spirit—your body—and ultimately separate you from God’s presence. He knows that if he can enslave a believer in lust, it will bring shame, spiritual stagnation, and even disqualification from ministry. Deliverance from Asmodeus Praise God, there is freedom through the blood of Jesus Christ! Steps to Break Free:
Asmodeus may be powerful, but he is no match for the name of Jesus. Freedom is not only possible—it is promised to those who seek it in Christ. If you or someone you know is struggling with lust, know that you are not alone. There is healing, restoration, and deliverance available. At The Children’s Bread Deliverance Ministry, we have helped thousands find freedom from the chains of lust, perversion, and demonic oppression. Need Help? The Occult Origin of the Labubu Dolls: A Warning to Christians
By Pastor Miguel Bustillos www.deliverancexorcisms.com A disturbing trend is making its way into homes and social media feeds across the globe: Labubu dolls. With their mischievous grins, pointed ears, and otherworldly features, they may look like innocent collectibles to the untrained eye—but spiritually, they are anything but harmless. These dolls are part of “The Monsters” series by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung, in partnership with designer toy company Pop Mart. But beyond the plastic and paint lies something far more dangerous: occultic influence rooted in ancient Nordic mythology. Labubu and Its Nordic Occult Roots The character “Labubu” is modeled after mythical creatures known in Nordic and Germanic folklore as imps, forest spirits, or nature tricksters. In pre-Christian Scandinavian beliefs, these entities were often regarded as spirits of the woods, sometimes helpful but more often mischievous or malevolent. They were said to dwell in shadows, hide in forests, and interact with humans to cause confusion, torment, or misfortune. In Norse mythology, spiritual entities often had dual natures: appearing friendly on the outside while hiding dark intentions. These beings were commonly linked to pagan deities, nature worship, and animistic rituals—all practices explicitly condemned in Scripture. Spiritual Symbolism Hidden in Plain Sight Labubu’s features aren’t random. They’re steeped in spiritual symbolism:
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness.” — Isaiah 5:20 Demonic Influence Through Objects Labubu may appear playful, but these dolls are modeled after spirit beings once invoked in pagan rituals. And while people no longer bow before idols made of wood and stone, Satan’s tactics have evolved. He now uses cultural objects, media, and trinkets to create spiritual access points into people’s lives. Scripture warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10–12 not to engage with anything related to spiritism, witchcraft, or sorcery. Even items with innocent appearances can become carriers of spiritual oppression if their origins are rooted in darkness. As a deliverance minister, I’ve encountered many cases where demonic harassment was linked to cursed objects—particularly those based on folklore or pagan myths. Labubu falls squarely into this category. What Should Christians Do?
Labubu dolls may be trending, but so is the normalization of the occult. These are not just toys. They are part of a spiritual agenda to desensitize this generation—especially children—to the demonic. Rooted in Nordic occult beliefs, inspired by pagan forest spirits, and presented as “cute” collectibles, Labubu is a clear example of how Satan disguises darkness in the form of light. “For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:14 Guard your gates. Warn your loved ones. And above all, stay spiritually awake. By Pastor Miguel Bustillos, Deliverance Minister and Exorcist
www.deliverancexorcisms.com In a recent teaching, Mark Chase of Invicta Ministries (Fort Lauderdale) brought to light a troubling mindset that is creeping into the modern Church—especially among believers who dismiss the possibility of demonic influence simply because they are “born again.” This same attitude was present in John 8:33, when the Pharisees responded to Jesus’ offer of freedom by saying: “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been in bondage to anyone.” They claimed spiritual heritage, but ignored spiritual reality. Despite their long history of captivity—Egypt, Babylon, and Roman rule—they still insisted they had no bondage. Their pride blinded them to their true condition. And today, many Christians echo this same deception: “I’m saved. I’m born again. I can’t have a demon.” Spirit, Soul, and Body — Understanding the Difference It is crucial to understand the triune nature of man: 1 Thessalonians 5:23 says: “May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless…” Spirit – This is the part of us that is reborn at salvation. It is sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13) and belongs to God. Soul – This includes our mind, will, and emotions. It is not automatically renewed at salvation and must be sanctified (Romans 12:2). Body – This is the physical temple. It can be defiled and is susceptible to sickness, oppression, and even demonic attack. So when we say a Christian cannot have a demon, what we really should be saying is this: “A Christian’s spirit cannot be possessed by a demon—but their soul or body can absolutely be oppressed, afflicted, or even inhabited.” Demons do not enter the spirit of a born-again believer—they exploit the soul wounds, trauma, unforgiveness, and open doors in the mind and body. This is why so many Christians continue to suffer from depression, addictions, lust, chronic illness, confusion, torment, and more—even though they’ve accepted Christ. Pride that Says “I Cannot Be in Bondage” Just like the Pharisees, some believers declare with boldness: “I have never been in bondage. I’m a child of God.” But the fruit of their lives tells a different story. They are saved but tormented. They are anointed but angry. They worship on Sunday but secretly struggle Monday through Saturday. When they hear the message of deliverance, they often reject it—not because it’s unbiblical, but because it confronts their pride. John 8:34 – “Jesus answered them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin.’” Being born again is the beginning of a journey—not the end of sanctification. Deliverance is not about questioning someone’s salvation; it’s about confronting what is still attached to the soul and body and has not yet been surrendered to Christ. Deliverance is for the Believer Jesus said in Mark 7:27, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” Deliverance is the children’s bread. It is for God’s people, not outsiders. The unsaved need salvation. The saved need freedom. Many of the people Jesus delivered were believers in God—but still afflicted. Likewise, the early Church cast out demons from believers (Acts 8, Acts 16). Paul warned of doctrines of demons in the Church, not just the world (1 Timothy 4:1). The Pharisee Spirit in the Church Today Mark Chase rightly pointed out that pride has become a mask for many. Rather than humble themselves and seek healing, they declare, “That could never happen to me—I’m saved.” But this was the exact heart posture that kept the Pharisees from receiving freedom from the very Messiah they were waiting for. A Christian may have the Holy Spirit in their spirit—but still have unclean spirits tormenting their mind or body. This doesn’t mean they’re not saved. It means there is unfinished work of sanctification and healing. Humility Brings Freedom Jesus said in John 8:36, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” But He cannot free someone who refuses to admit they’re bound. Deliverance is not about shame—it’s about freedom. It’s for born-again believers who want to walk in total healing across their spirit, soul, and body. Let us not make the mistake of the Pharisees. Let us walk in humility, recognize our need, and invite Jesus not just to save us—but to cleanse us completely. Written by Pastor Miguel Bustillos
To receive deliverance ministry or exorcism, go to www.pastormiguel.com The battleground of spiritual warfare is the mind. Scripture warns us to “be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). One of Satan's greatest strategies is to infiltrate and corrupt the human mind, where thoughts are formed, decisions are made, and spiritual discernment takes place. When demons target a person, their goal is not only to torment the body but to devastate the mind. 1. Planting Deceptive Thoughts Demons begin by whispering lies and planting seeds of deception. These thoughts may sound like the person's own inner voice:
2. Creating Mental Bondage Once lies are accepted, strongholds begin to form. A stronghold is a fortress of wrong thinking that opposes the knowledge of God. The apostle Paul wrote, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” (2 Corinthians 10:4). These strongholds may manifest as:
3. Distorting Reality Another way demons destroy the mind is by distorting how a person perceives themselves, others, and God. This can lead to paranoia, hallucinations, or delusions. A once-loving person may become suspicious, cold, and isolated. Their ability to reason and discern spiritual truth is weakened. Romans 1:28 speaks of those who are given over to a “reprobate mind” — a mind void of sound judgment. 4. Feeding on Trauma Demons often enter through trauma and use it to deepen mental torment. Abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exposure to witchcraft can open doors. The demonic kingdom will replay the trauma over and over, locking the person into a cycle of emotional and mental torment. This prevents healing and drives the person deeper into despair, bitterness, and mental fragmentation. 5. Blocking the Mind from Receiving Truth The enemy also seeks to block the mind from understanding or accepting the Gospel. 2 Corinthians 4:4 explains, “The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.” Even Christians can experience this in areas where deception or unforgiveness has taken root. Hope for the Oppressed The good news is that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Through deliverance and inner healing, the demonic influence over the mind can be broken. The renewing of the mind (Romans 12:2) is not just a psychological process—it’s a spiritual transformation brought by the Holy Spirit. If you are tormented in your mind, do not suffer in silence. Seek help through prayer, deliverance ministry, and counseling. Jesus is still setting captives free today. By Pastor Miguel Bustillos, Deliverance Minister and Exorcist
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” – Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) In deliverance ministry, one of the most heartbreaking realities is witnessing how evil spirits torment those who are demonized. These torments are not imaginary, and they are not always visible to the naked eye—but their effects are very real. The goal of demonic torment is always the same: to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Understanding how these spirits operate helps us minister more effectively to those who are suffering under their influence. 1. Mental and Emotional Torment: Demons often attack the mind first. They plant obsessive, compulsive, or suicidal thoughts, leading people into depression, anxiety, confusion, and fear.
4. Relational Destruction: Demons sow division and strife in relationships—especially in families, marriages, and church communities.
5. Compulsive Behavior and Addiction: Many demonized individuals are tormented through compulsions—behaviors they feel powerless to stop.
Hope in ChristThe good news is that Jesus Christ came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Deliverance ministry plays a vital role in helping people find freedom from demonic torment. When these spirits are confronted and cast out in the name of Jesus, healing and restoration begin. If you or someone you know is experiencing any of these forms of torment, do not ignore the signs. Seek prayer, confess your faith in Jesus Christ, and allow a trained deliverance minister to help you walk into the freedom Christ died to give you. You were not created to be a prisoner of torment—you were created to walk in victory. Need Help? Deliverance Minister and Exorcist Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com Deliverance is a powerful and transformative experience, freeing individuals from spiritual bondage and oppression. However, many people make the mistake of believing that once they have been set free, their battle is over. In reality, deliverance is just the beginning. Maintaining your freedom requires obedience, discipline, and the willingness to follow the guidance of a trained deliverance minister. Why You Must Follow Instructions from a Deliverance MinisterA seasoned deliverance minister has spent years studying spiritual warfare and has been trained in discerning the tactics of the enemy. Their guidance is not based on personal opinion but on biblical principles and experience in spiritual warfare. Here are a few key reasons why their direction is essential for maintaining your deliverance: 1. Spiritual Wisdom and DiscernmentDeliverance ministers are equipped with spiritual discernment that helps them recognize demonic tactics. They can identify potential areas of vulnerability that you might overlook. Ignoring their advice can open the door for the enemy to regain access to your life. 2. Post-Deliverance Instructions Protect You from RepossessionJesus warned in Matthew 12:43-45 that when an unclean spirit leaves a person, it seeks to return. If it finds the house (your soul) empty, swept clean, and unguarded, it brings back seven spirits worse than itself. Deliverance ministers provide post-deliverance instructions to ensure that your spiritual "house" is filled with the Word of God, prayer, and a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. 3. Avoiding Old Habits and Sinful LifestylesMany who receive deliverance fall back into old habits, believing they are strong enough to handle temptation on their own. A deliverance minister will help you establish new, godly habits to replace the destructive ones that gave demons a legal right to enter your life. 4. Establishing a Strong Prayer LifePrayer is a weapon that strengthens your spirit and keeps demonic influences at bay. Your deliverance minister may provide specific prayers or fasting recommendations to help fortify your spiritual life. Neglecting these instructions can leave you spiritually weak and vulnerable to renewed attacks. 5. Accountability and Spiritual CoveringDeliverance ministers act as spiritual shepherds who guide you through the process of healing and freedom. Having an accountability partner in your journey is crucial because the enemy will always attempt to isolate you and attack when you are spiritually weak. Common Mistakes That Lead to Losing Deliverance
If you have undergone deliverance, I encourage you to honor the process and listen carefully to your deliverance minister. www.deliverancexorcisms.com Throughout history, societies have struggled with discerning and monitoring the influences of witches and spirits. Understanding this subject through historical context and spiritual discernment can equip modern believers to identify and respond effectively to spiritual warfare. Historical ContextHistorically, concerns about witches and spirits date back to ancient civilizations. For example, in biblical times, King Saul consulted the witch of Endor (1 Samuel 28), revealing an ancient awareness of witchcraft's real spiritual implications. Similarly, in medieval Europe, fears of witchcraft resulted in widespread panic, leading to inquisitions and trials such as those witnessed in Salem, Massachusetts, during the infamous Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Historically, people often tried to identify and monitor witches through questionable methods such as trials by ordeal or relying on superstition. While these methods are now rightfully seen as unjust and misguided, the underlying recognition of spiritual influence remains relevant. Biblical Perspective on MonitoringThe Bible emphasizes discernment and vigilance rather than fear-based superstition. Christians are encouraged to:

The Children's Bread Deliverance Ministry - Maryland Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com Exorcism and demonic possession are topics that have fascinated and concerned people for centuries. From the accounts in the Bible to modern-day deliverance ministries, the need to understand the spiritual realities of demonic influence remains relevant. This blog explores the signs of demonic possession, what exorcism entails, and how both are addressed from a biblical standpoint. What is Demonic Possession? Demonic possession involves a situation where an individual is controlled or heavily influenced by demonic entities. The possessed person may exhibit behaviors, physical changes, or spiritual signs that suggest an evil force has taken hold. The Bible provides multiple examples of demonic possession, especially during Jesus' ministry when He cast out demons from afflicted individuals (Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39). Common Signs of Demonic Possession 1. Uncontrollable Behavior: Those possessed may display violent or erratic behavior, such as extreme rage, superhuman strength, or self-harm (Mark 5:3-5). 2. Aversion to Holy Objects: A person under demonic influence may show discomfort or even hostility toward crosses, Bibles, or anything representing the presence of God. 3. Supernatural Knowledge or Abilities: Possessed individuals may exhibit knowledge of unknown events or languages without any natural explanation. 4. Voice Alterations and Personality Changes: Sudden changes in voice, demeanor, or personality can indicate the presence of a demonic entity. 5. Blasphemous Outbursts: Persistent and uncontrollable blasphemies, especially during prayer or worship, are often associated with possession. What is Exorcism? Exorcism is the practice of casting out demons from individuals who are believed to be possessed. In Christian theology, exorcism is performed in the name of Jesus Christ, who has authority over all demonic forces (Luke 10:17-19). The process often involves prayer, the reading of Scripture, and commands directed toward the demonic entity to leave the individual. Biblical Foundation for Exorcism The New Testament records Jesus performing exorcisms as a key part of His ministry. He empowered His disciples to cast out demons, demonstrating that authority over evil spirits is granted to believers (Matthew 10:1, Mark 16:17). Exorcism is not just about removing the demon but restoring the person to a right relationship with God, helping them find deliverance and peace. Steps in a Biblical Exorcism 1. Discernment: Accurate identification of whether the issue is demonic or natural is essential. Not every manifestation is spiritual in nature; some may be medical or psychological. 2. Preparation through Prayer: Those involved in the exorcism should be spiritually prepared, covered in prayer, and fasting if necessary (Mark 9:29). 3. Authority in Christ: Commands are given directly to the demonic entities in the name of Jesus Christ, asserting His power over them. 4. Follow-Up and Discipleship: After deliverance, ongoing discipleship and prayer are necessary to help the individual stay free from further attacks (Matthew 12:43-45). How to Protect Yourself from Demonic Influence One of the best ways to avoid demonic influence is by living a life grounded in biblical principles, prayer, and active faith. Regular engagement in spiritual disciplines such as Bible study, church fellowship, and accountability can serve as protection against demonic attacks. As Ephesians 6:10-18 teaches, the "armor of God" equips believers to stand against the schemes of the devil. Exorcism and demonic possession are complex topics, but the Bible gives us the tools and understanding needed to address them. Through the authority of Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, deliverance is possible for those who are oppressed. Understanding the signs of possession and the biblical approach to exorcism allows Christians to minister effectively while safeguarding themselves from spiritual harm. If you or someone you know is experiencing signs of demonic possession or spiritual oppression, it is important to seek help from a trained deliverance minister who operates within the biblical guidelines outlined in Scripture.
