![]() Why Did the Apostles in Jerusalem Confront Paul About the Law of Moses? By Pastor Miguel Bustillos website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com When Paul returned to Jerusalem in Acts 21, he was met with concern from the Apostles and elders—not because they denied the New Covenant, but because they were trying to manage a delicate transition within the early Church. This moment raises an important question: Why were the Apostles, who believed in Christ and the New Covenant, still concerned about Paul’s relationship to the Law of Moses? 1. The Early Church Was in Transition: The Church was undergoing a major shift—from the Old Covenant, based on the Law of Moses, to the New Covenant, established through the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 8:6–13). While the Apostles preached salvation by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9), many Jewish believers still held tightly to their traditions. These believers accepted Jesus as the Messiah but continued to practice circumcision and temple rituals—not for salvation, but as part of their identity (Acts 21:20). 2. Rumors and the Need for Unity: Rumors spread that Paul was teaching Jews living among the Gentiles to abandon the Law of Moses entirely (Acts 21:21). This caused alarm among the leaders in Jerusalem. To prevent confusion and offense, they asked Paul to take part in a public purification ritual (Acts 21:23–24). Paul agreed—not because he believed these rituals were necessary for salvation, but because he wanted to maintain unity and prevent division. He wrote elsewhere, “To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews...” (1 Corinthians 9:20). 3. The Apostles Were Not Rejecting the New Covenant: The Apostles did not believe salvation came through the Law. This had already been settled in Acts 15 at the Jerusalem Council, where it was made clear that Gentiles were not obligated to keep the Law of Moses (Acts 15:10–11, 19–20). However, many Jewish believers still valued their customs and heritage, and the Apostles were working to shepherd them into deeper understanding. 4. A Lesson in Wisdom and Humility: Paul’s decision was a strategic act of humility. He was not compromising the Gospel—he was applying wisdom. Avoiding unnecessary offense in non-essential matters is part of the spiritual maturity required in leadership (Romans 14:1–6; 1 Corinthians 10:32–33). Final Thoughts: The confrontation in Acts 21 wasn’t about rejecting the New Covenant—it was about preserving unity and managing the growth of the Church during a time of cultural transformation. As ministers of deliverance and truth, we too must balance conviction with compassion, and doctrine with discernment.

The Importance of Listening to the Direction of a Deliverance Minister to Maintain Your Deliverance3/14/2025 Pastor Miguel Bustillos
Deliverance Minister and Exorcist Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com Deliverance is a powerful and transformative experience, freeing individuals from spiritual bondage and oppression. However, many people make the mistake of believing that once they have been set free, their battle is over. In reality, deliverance is just the beginning. Maintaining your freedom requires obedience, discipline, and the willingness to follow the guidance of a trained deliverance minister. Why You Must Follow Instructions from a Deliverance MinisterA seasoned deliverance minister has spent years studying spiritual warfare and has been trained in discerning the tactics of the enemy. Their guidance is not based on personal opinion but on biblical principles and experience in spiritual warfare. Here are a few key reasons why their direction is essential for maintaining your deliverance: 1. Spiritual Wisdom and DiscernmentDeliverance ministers are equipped with spiritual discernment that helps them recognize demonic tactics. They can identify potential areas of vulnerability that you might overlook. Ignoring their advice can open the door for the enemy to regain access to your life. 2. Post-Deliverance Instructions Protect You from RepossessionJesus warned in Matthew 12:43-45 that when an unclean spirit leaves a person, it seeks to return. If it finds the house (your soul) empty, swept clean, and unguarded, it brings back seven spirits worse than itself. Deliverance ministers provide post-deliverance instructions to ensure that your spiritual "house" is filled with the Word of God, prayer, and a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. 3. Avoiding Old Habits and Sinful LifestylesMany who receive deliverance fall back into old habits, believing they are strong enough to handle temptation on their own. A deliverance minister will help you establish new, godly habits to replace the destructive ones that gave demons a legal right to enter your life. 4. Establishing a Strong Prayer LifePrayer is a weapon that strengthens your spirit and keeps demonic influences at bay. Your deliverance minister may provide specific prayers or fasting recommendations to help fortify your spiritual life. Neglecting these instructions can leave you spiritually weak and vulnerable to renewed attacks. 5. Accountability and Spiritual CoveringDeliverance ministers act as spiritual shepherds who guide you through the process of healing and freedom. Having an accountability partner in your journey is crucial because the enemy will always attempt to isolate you and attack when you are spiritually weak. Common Mistakes That Lead to Losing Deliverance
If you have undergone deliverance, I encourage you to honor the process and listen carefully to your deliverance minister. Their counsel is not just helpful—it is essential to your spiritual survival. Are you struggling to maintain your deliverance? Need guidance on how to walk in lasting freedom? Reach out to a seasoned deliverance minister today and commit to walking in obedience to the Lord. By Pastor Miguel Bustillos
www.deliverancexorcisms.com Throughout history, societies have struggled with discerning and monitoring the influences of witches and spirits. Understanding this subject through historical context and spiritual discernment can equip modern believers to identify and respond effectively to spiritual warfare. Historical ContextHistorically, concerns about witches and spirits date back to ancient civilizations. For example, in biblical times, King Saul consulted the witch of Endor (1 Samuel 28), revealing an ancient awareness of witchcraft's real spiritual implications. Similarly, in medieval Europe, fears of witchcraft resulted in widespread panic, leading to inquisitions and trials such as those witnessed in Salem, Massachusetts, during the infamous Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Historically, people often tried to identify and monitor witches through questionable methods such as trials by ordeal or relying on superstition. While these methods are now rightfully seen as unjust and misguided, the underlying recognition of spiritual influence remains relevant. Biblical Perspective on MonitoringThe Bible emphasizes discernment and vigilance rather than fear-based superstition. Christians are encouraged to:
Practical Discernment TodayModern Christians should focus on practical discernment methods to monitor spiritual influences:
Throughout history, there have been accounts of malevolent spiritual entities known as incubus and succubus—demonic spirits believed to engage in sexual activity with humans, often during sleep. These spirits have been widely discussed in folklore, demonology, and Christian theology, with early Church Fathers such as St. Augustine of Hippo acknowledging the existence of such beings in his writings. As believers, it is crucial to recognize the dangers of these spirits and understand how to combat their influence through the power of Jesus Christ.
What Are Incubus and Succubus Spirits? The incubus (male demon) and succubus (female demon) are entities that seduce, oppress, and torment individuals, often appearing in dreams or during moments of vulnerability. Their goal is to drain spiritual strength, create demonic covenants, and lead people into sin. These encounters may manifest in the form of disturbing dreams, unnatural sexual urges, spiritual oppression, or even physical sensations. Biblical and Historical Accounts While the Bible does not explicitly mention "incubus" or "succubus" by name, it warns against demonic interactions, unclean spirits, and sexual perversions caused by the enemy. In Genesis 6:1-4, there is mention of the Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and human women, which some scholars believe relates to similar demonic encounters. The early Church also recorded reports of such spirits. St. Augustine, in The City of God (Book 15, Chapter 23), recounts widespread testimonies of "incubi" spirits preying upon women: "There is, too, a very general rumor, which many have verified by their own experience... that sylvans and fauns, who are commonly called 'incubi,' had often made wicked assaults upon women, and satisfied their lust upon them." Augustine, though cautious, acknowledged that these demonic encounters were too widespread to dismiss outright. His writings serve as historical documentation of spiritual attacks similar to what deliverance ministers witness today. Signs of Incubus and Succubus Attacks These spirits often operate in secrecy, attempting to deceive their victims into believing these experiences are natural. Common signs of their influence include:
How to Overcome These Spirits If you or someone you know is struggling with demonic oppression from incubus or succubus, the solution is deliverance through Jesus Christ. Here are biblical steps to break free: 1. Repent and Renounce All Sexual Sin Unrepented sin, including fornication, adultery, pornography, and sexual perversions, can create an open door for these spirits. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, "Flee from sexual immorality..." Confess your sins and break all past ungodly soul ties. 2. Break Any Demonic Covenants These spirits may attach themselves through generational curses, past occult involvement, or even witchcraft and ancestral ties. Renounce all past agreements, spoken words, or invitations that may have given them access. 3. Engage in Deliverance Prayers and Fasting Deliverance is necessary to expel these spirits. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding any spirit of incubus, succubus, or unclean sexual demon to leave. Matthew 17:21 teaches that some spirits "do not go out except by prayer and fasting." 4. Anoint Your Home and Body Spiritual warfare includes cleansing your environment. Anoint your home with blessed oil, play worship music, and keep an atmosphere filled with God’s presence. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world." 5. Stay Rooted in Holiness and Purity Walking in obedience to Christ ensures that these spirits do not return. James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Living a life of holiness through prayer, fasting, and studying God's Word builds spiritual protection. Final Thoughts Incubus and succubus spirits are real, and their goal is to defile, oppress, and destroy the spiritual lives of believers. However, through the power of Jesus Christ, deliverance is possible. If you are experiencing spiritual attacks, seek help through prayer, deliverance ministry, and spiritual counseling. The Children's Bread Deliverance Ministry - Maryland Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com Halloween, with its historical and cultural layers, has often been regarded as a festive time of year, filled with costumes, candy, and community activities. However, for Christians, the celebration comes with certain spiritual risks and potential conflicts with the teachings of the Bible. Recognizing the roots and spiritual implications of Halloween can help Christians approach the holiday with discernment, aligning their actions and beliefs with a faith-centered life. Here are some key points to consider regarding the potential spiritual dangers associated with Halloween. 1. Origins of Halloween and Its Pagan Roots Halloween’s history is deeply rooted in pagan traditions, primarily from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, which marked the end of the harvest season. During this festival, it was believed that the boundary between the physical world and the spirit world became thin, allowing spirits to enter the earthly realm. People would dress in costumes to ward off harmful spirits or to blend in with them. For Christians, participating in activities rooted in pagan beliefs can be spiritually compromising. In the Bible, Christians are called to separate themselves from practices that glorify or invite occult elements, as highlighted in passages like Deuteronomy 18:10-12, which warns against witchcraft, divination, and calling upon spirits. 2. Glorification of Darkness and the Occult Halloween is often associated with themes of death, darkness, and the supernatural. Images of ghosts, witches, and demons dominate the holiday’s iconography, contributing to a culture that celebrates or trivializes dark forces. This glorification of darkness can subtly influence young minds and open the door to an acceptance of spiritual practices contrary to biblical teachings. Scripture advises Christians to avoid any association with darkness, as Ephesians 5:11 states, “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” Celebrating a holiday that normalizes or even glamorizes dark spiritual forces can be at odds with living a life set apart for God. 3. Desensitization to Spiritual Realities By participating in Halloween festivities that involve themes of horror, witchcraft, and fear, Christians risk becoming desensitized to the real dangers associated with these elements. Modern society may treat concepts like demons, spirits, and witchcraft as mere entertainment; however, the Bible teaches that these forces are very real and oppose the Kingdom of God.1 Peter 5:8 reminds us to “be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” Halloween’s emphasis on horror and fear can subtly influence our thoughts and attitudes, making us less vigilant and more accepting of spiritual influences that we are instructed to guard against. 4. The Potential for Spiritual Oppression In the practice of deliverance ministry, spiritual doors can sometimes be opened unintentionally. When individuals participate in activities or rituals that have connections to the occult, they may unknowingly invite oppressive spiritual forces into their lives. While not all Halloween traditions have this effect, those involving occult symbolism, fortune-telling, or invoking spirits are particularly dangerous. Ephesians 6:12 reminds Christians that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” It is important for Christians to remain vigilant and avoid practices that may compromise their spiritual protection. 5. Confusion for Young Believers For families raising children in the faith, Halloween can present a confusing message. Celebrating a holiday that includes symbols of death, fear, and the occult may contradict the teachings they receive about love, life, and purity in Christ. Young believers need guidance to understand why certain activities may not align with a Christian lifestyle, especially when popular culture often promotes Halloween as a harmless and fun event. 6. Emphasizing Life and Hope Over Death and Fear At its core, Halloween can be seen as a holiday that focuses on death, fear, and darkness, which contradicts the message of life and hope in the Christian faith. The Bible repeatedly instructs believers to focus on things that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy, as seen in Philippians 4:8. Christians are called to reflect the light of Christ in all they do, bringing hope and love to a world in need. Instead of embracing symbols of death and fear, Christians can use this season as an opportunity to shine a light, perhaps by spreading the message of salvation, reaching out to the community, or offering a positive alternative that glorifies God. Halloween presents a unique set of challenges for Christians who wish to live according to their faith. While each family may choose how they approach this holiday, it’s essential to stay grounded in biblical teachings and avoid practices that may lead to spiritual compromise. By recognizing Halloween’s potential dangers and focusing on alternatives that reflect Christ’s love and truth, Christians can navigate this season with wisdom and integrity. The Children's Bread Deliverance Ministry - Maryland Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com Pornography is one of the most pervasive and damaging issues facing individuals and families today. It lurks in the shadows, often masked as a private indulgence, yet it has devastating consequences on spiritual, mental, and relational health. For Christians, it’s not just a battle against flesh and temptation; it’s a spiritual war that threatens our relationship with God and others. Pornography is not merely a harmless activity; it’s a trap that ensnares the soul and corrupts the mind. Jesus clearly states in the Bible, “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28, NIV). Pornography leads us into the sin of lust, a direct violation of God’s command to remain pure and holy. God created sexual intimacy to be a beautiful expression of love between a husband and wife. Pornography, however, perverts this gift by turning it into something selfish and degrading. “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral” (Hebrews 13:4, NIV). Furthermore, pornography is highly addictive, often starting innocently but quickly escalating into a powerful habit. “For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved” (2 Peter 2:19, ESV). It enslaves the mind and spirit, making it difficult to focus on God and His purposes. Beyond personal consequences, pornography also destroys relationships by undermining trust and intimacy, particularly in marriage, leading to feelings of betrayal and emotional distance. “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience” (Ephesians 5:6, ESV). To overcome pornography, the first step is to confess and repent. Acknowledge the sin before God and turn away from it. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, ESV). Renew your mind with God’s Word by meditating on Scriptures that remind you of God’s love and purpose. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2, NIV). Establish boundaries by avoiding situations or triggers that lead to temptation. As the Psalmist writes, “I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless” (Psalm 101:3, ESV). Seek accountability by finding a trusted friend, pastor, or counselor who can hold you accountable and provide prayer support. “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16, ESV). Engage in prayer and fasting to fight this spiritual battle with spiritual weapons. Spend dedicated time in prayer, asking God for strength and deliverance. “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41, NIV). Remember God’s grace and forgiveness. Shame often keeps us trapped in sin, but God’s grace is sufficient, and His forgiveness is always available. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1, ESV). Breaking free from pornography is not easy, but it’s possible through Christ. Jesus came to set captives free, and He offers hope and healing to all who seek Him. “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36, NIV). If you are struggling, know that you are not alone. Reach out to your local church, seek professional help, and surround yourself with a supportive Christian community. With God’s help, you can break the chains of pornography and live in the freedom He has designed for you. Consider your journey with God and the areas of your life that need His cleansing power. Let today be the day you take the first step toward purity, healing, and restoration. 4o By Pastor Miguel Bustillos, Deliverance Minister and Exorcist

The Children's Bread Deliverance Ministry Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com In the world of spiritual warfare, the spirit of Jezebel is notorious for its deceptive and manipulative tactics. But what exactly is this spirit, and how can we combat its influence in our lives and communities? The spirit of Jezebel operates through manipulation, control, and seduction, targeting leaders and believers to undermine God's work. This spirit thrives on creating discord, promoting immorality, and fostering rebellion against spiritual authority. Many Christians struggle to recognize and deal with its subtle yet destructive influence, leading to spiritual stagnation and relational conflicts. To combat the spirit of Jezebel, we must first recognize its characteristics: manipulation, control, deceit, and rebellion. Spiritual discernment and prayer are crucial in identifying its presence. Equipping ourselves with the Word of God, particularly scriptures that speak against immorality and manipulation, helps in resisting this spirit. Practicing humility, fostering accountability, and seeking deliverance through prayer and fasting are effective strategies to overcome its influence. Understanding and combating the spirit of Jezebel is essential for maintaining spiritual purity and unity within the body of Christ. By recognizing its tactics and employing spiritual disciplines, we can break free from its grip and walk in the freedom and authority given to us by Christ. Stay vigilant, stay prayerful, and let’s strive for purity and unity in our spiritual journey. The Children's Bread Deliverance Ministry Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com In the realm of spiritual warfare and deliverance ministry, understanding the various manifestations of demonic possession is crucial. One such manifestation is hallucinations. These can be deeply distressing experiences for those afflicted and perplexing for those seeking to help. This blog will explore the phenomenon of hallucinations during demonic possession from a biblical perspective. Defining Hallucinations Hallucinations are sensory experiences that appear real but are created by the mind. These can affect all five senses, but visual and auditory hallucinations are the most common. In the context of demonic possession, hallucinations may involve seeing demonic entities, hearing malevolent voices, or experiencing other frightening sensations that have no physical basis. Biblical Instances of Hallucinations In the book of Job. Job 4:12-16 describes a terrifying vision that Eliphaz the Temanite experiences: "A word was secretly brought to me, my ears caught a whisper of it. Amid disquieting dreams in the night, when deep sleep falls on people, fear and trembling seized me and made all my bones shake. A spirit glided past my face, and the hair on my body stood on end. It stopped, but I could not tell what it was. A form stood before my eyes, and I heard a hushed voice..." This passage suggests that spiritual entities can indeed create frightening and vivid hallucinations. Understanding the Purpose of Hallucinations in Demonic Possession Hallucinations in the context of demonic possession often serve several purposes: 1. Instilling Fear: Demons aim to instill fear, confusion, and despair in their victims. Fear is a powerful tool that can paralyze individuals and make them more susceptible to demonic influence. 2. Distracting from God: Hallucinations can divert a person's focus away from God and His promises. Instead of seeking divine comfort and guidance, the afflicted individual may become consumed by the terrifying visions and voices. 3. Undermining Reality: By distorting reality, demons can isolate their victims from others. This isolation can lead to further mental and emotional instability, making deliverance more challenging. Hallucinations during demonic possession are a distressing and challenging manifestation of spiritual warfare. However, by understanding their purpose and employing biblical principles, deliverance ministers and believers can effectively combat these deceptive experiences. Through prayer, fasting, renewing the mind, and community support, those afflicted can find freedom and restoration in Christ. In all cases, it is essential to approach these situations with compassion, wisdom, and reliance on the Holy Spirit's guidance. Deliverance is ultimately about bringing the afflicted closer to the healing and redemptive power of Jesus Christ. |
