What are Totems?

A totem is a spirit being, sacred object, or symbol that serves as an emblem of a group of people, such as a family, clam, or tribe.

They are used to protect, to attract energies or as spirit guides. In reality these spirits guides/energies/protectors are nothing more than demons. You may have one of these in your home and not even know it.  People accept these because they are usually made by medicine men (shamans). There is no such thing as white or good magic. All magic comes from Satan. 

The one on the top that looks like a deer is an energy totem used to attract positive energy. Every piece of the totem has an occult  meaning to it.

When you purchase a totem, you are bringing a demons into your household.  

This is one of the reason why we like to walk through our client's home before we administer deliverance. We spot things like this all the time. They are what we call power objects, used by demons to gain power and to claim legal rights.

I recently visited the Renwick Gallery Museum in DC and to my surprised I found a Druid Celtic Temple inside of the museum. The Druids were an ancient order of Celtic Priest and magicians in ancient Gaul and Great Britain whom practiced human sacrifice and cast spells and rituals as part of their pagan worship.  The term Druid is an ancient Celtic word for "knowing the oak trees." They worshiped oak groves, and as members of this elite and learned social class, they acted as priest, teachers, and judges among the ancient Celts. Druids were practitioners of of sorcery, healers, prophets,  and fortune tellers. The Druids believed that during Samhain (Halloween), ghost, spirits, fairies, witches, goblins and elves came out to harm people. They believed that the doors between the Nethwerworld and the earth's realm swung open one night a year  and on that night the dead could return to the living and bedevil humans. 

The Druid Wicker Man based on the descriptions by Julius Caesar was a giant figure, in which human sacrifice victims (usually criminals) were placed inside a wooden image and set on fire. 

Every year, at Black Rock Desert Nevada, thousands gather together to burn giant figures made out of wood. While most people don't take what they are doing as some type of religious experience, in fact, they are participating in an old Celtic practice of human sacrifice. In some of these festivals there has been participants that have died by jumping into the fire. These figures are named Burning Man temples. Many of them have been constructed by David Best.

We have our very temple at the Renwick in DC. David Best has constructed a temple inside the museum made out of wood. In it thousands of people come from all over the world with pictures of their deceased family members and prayers request on notes. These request are all over the burning man temple. But to who are these prayers left for?

No doubt, that these people are seeking the spiritual side of life. They need to be told about Jesus. Unintentionally they leave their prayers to an unknown deity, to a  god which is without a doubt Satan.

Do these people know they are leaving these request to ancient Celtic gods? I think not. I think it is up to us, Christians to tell them about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Give them the Gospel (1st Corithians 15: 1-4).

What must I do to be saved?
 
No one gets out alive, so this beyond doubt the most important question you can ever ask yourself! In fact, the Bible was written “so that you know that you have eternal life” (1 John 6:13) First, according to Scripture, you need to realize that you are a sinner. If you do not realize you are a sinner, you will not recognize your need for a SAVIOR. The Bible teaches we “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Furthermore, you must repent of your sins. Repentance is an old English word that describes a willingness to turn from our sin toward Jesus Christ. It literally means a complete U-turn on the road of life- a change of heart and a change of mind. It means you are willing to follow Jesus and to receive Him as your savior and Lord. Jesus said “Repent and believe the good news! (Mark 1;15).

Finally, to demonstrate true belief means to be willing to receive. To truly receive is to trust in and depend on Jesus Christ alone to be the Lord of our lives here and now and our Savior for all eternity. It takes more than knowledge (the devil knows about Jesus and trembles). What it takes is to trust in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life. The requirements for eternal life are based not on what you can do but on what Jesus Christ has done. He stands ready to exchange His perfection for your imperfection.

According to Jesus Christ, those who realize they are sinners, repent of their sins, and receive Him as Lord and Savior are “born again” (John 3:3)- not physically, but spiritually. The reality of our salvation is not dependent on our feelings but rather on the promise of the Savior who says: “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life” (John 5:24).
 
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).
