The importance of staying away from negative people according to the Bible.

Negative people can bring us down, affecting our moods, attitudes, and even our spiritual well-being. The Bible recognizes the power of our relationships and the influence they can have on our lives. This is why it is important to surround ourselves with positive, uplifting individuals.
One verse that speaks directly to this is Proverbs 13:20 which states, "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." This verse suggests that the company we keep can greatly impact our own well-being and personal growth. By associating with wise individuals, we have the opportunity to learn from their knowledge and experience, becoming wiser ourselves. On the other hand, if we surround ourselves with negative individuals, we are at risk of suffering harm and becoming infected by their negativity.
Additionally, Philippians 4:8 instructs us to "think on what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy." This verse implies that focusing on positive thoughts and relationships can bring peace and joy to our lives. When we choose to surround ourselves with people who bring out the best in us, our lives become brighter and more fulfilling.
In conclusion, the Bible recognizes the importance of choosing the right company. Negative individuals can bring us down, impacting our well-being and personal growth. On the other hand, surrounding ourselves with positive, uplifting people can bring peace and joy to our lives. So, let us strive to choose wisely, selecting relationships that help us grow, both personally and spiritually.

Using the Word of God during Spiritual Warfare

Every Christian should read and meditate on the Word of God daily. All scripture is good for teaching, rebuking, and training in righteousness. But how is the Word of God used during a confrontation with the devil. While most Christians will pick up their Bible and start reading from their favorite spiritual warfare scripture, we must remember that the enemy is also able to quote and twist scripture. If we are to go into hand to hand combat with the enemy we must be versed on the word of God. Otherwise, the enemy will have the advantage over us.

So how should the scriptures be used during a battle with the devil?

Jesus provided a few example on how a Christian should use scripture to fight the enemy.

Luke 4:1-14"1 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry. 3 The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.” 4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’” 5 The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 If you worship me, it will all be yours.” 8 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” 9 The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down from here. 10 For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; 11 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ ” 12 Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time. 14 Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside."

In these examples, you see how both the devil and Jesus were using the scriptures to their advantage. The devil twisted the scriptures to his advantage, but Jesus quoted truth. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. When you counter the devils lies with the truth of the Bible, the devil has no choice but to obey. Jesus used scriptures that voided the lies of the devil.

Examples:

Example 1:
Devil: You have no power over me!
You: No devil, the scriptures read: Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Example 2:
Devil: You can't cast me out!

You: No devil, I can! The scripture state: Mark 16:17 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues"

Example 3:
Devil: You will never be free

You: That's not rue devil, the scripture say that; John 8:36 "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Example 4:
Devil: We will put fear in you!

You:
The scriptures say:

2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of a sound mind."
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

Example 5:
Devil: There is no salvation for you! You are going to hell with me. look at all the evil things you have done!

You: You are wrong devil and this is why:
Romans 8:38-39
"38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 10:9-10
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

The scriptures must be quoted with faith. Simply reading the scriptures do nothing. But if you truly believe what the word of God says about any issues and quote it back to him, the devil doesn't have a chance.

Removing the Books of Paul

There is a movement to remove the Books of Paul from the Bible. In fact, he is called by some to be a false Apostle. Why would the devil be so aggressively seeking to discredit Paul and remove his Books from the Bible? The answer is very easy... Paul tells us that he is the Apostles of the Gentiles and that the Gentiles are saved by Grace...not works. By removing these Books from the Bible...you remove the Gospel of Grace (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), which is what is taught by Paul. No Grace through the shed blood of Jesus Christ...no salvation.

Are Birds of Prey Stealing Your Blessings?

In the book of Genesis Chapter 15, God establishes the Abrahamic Covenant. In this chapter, God asked Abram to make a sacrifice so that Abram could receive a blessing. There is a verse, verse 11 to be exact, which tells us that birds of prey came down on the carcasses and Abram had to chase them away. Now this verse would be insignificant if you had no idea of it's significance. These birds of prey represented demons, that wanted to steal Abram's blessings away. It is the same way with you. Every time God wants to give you a blessing you can expect birds of prey to come to steal your blessing. It's up to you to chase them away.

Deliverance Prayer against Leviathan!

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to you know as my deliverer. You know that torment that I have experienced from Spiritual Strongholds in my life, and I recognize that you alone have power to deliver me from them. In the name of Jesus, I take authority over the spirit of Leviathan and command pride, ego, arrogance, skepticism, and self-reliance to go from me right now! I declare that through the shed blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, every addiction, bondage, and demonic stronghold in my life be broken! Why does God allow Satan and his demons to continue to do evil on Earth?

1) To maintain humility in our lives (2 Corinthians 12:7)
2) To develop faith and righteousness in our lives (James 1:12, Peter 1:7-13, 5:8-9, 2 Peter 1:4-9)
3) To bring about trials whereby we can be rewarded when we overcome (1 John 2:13,4:1-6)
4) To teach us how to fight (Judges 3:2)
5) To afflict us in order that we repent (Job 33:14-30, 1 Corinthians 5:1-6)
6) To demonstrate the power of God over satanic power (Mark 1:21-27, 16:17-20, Acts 13:6-10, Ephesians 3:10)

Why Some Believers Experience More Spiritual Warfare than Others.

There are some believers who falsely believe that if they have a lot of faith they will not undergo any suffering, severe tests or satanic attacks. Nothing could be further from the truth! Actually, the opposite is true.
For example, in the book of Job chapters 1 and 2, God actually asks Satan if he considered His servant Job. Hence, God brought Job to Satan's attention, not because Job was in sin, but because Job was the greatest servant of God on the earth at that time (read Job 1:6-12; 2:3-6).
Furthermore, Acts 19:15 illustrates how Paul the apostle was not only known in heaven, but also in hell! He had their attention! First Peter 5:8-9 teaches that Satan roams the earth seeking someone to devour, which also goes along with the Job narrative (Job 1:7). When we read the context of all these passages, especially in regards to the satanic focus on both Paul and Job, we can come to the conclusion that the devil's main focus is to thwart, divert, distract and disarm the servants of God who are promoting the rule of God on the earth as it is in heaven. Heaven is the only realm in the universe where everything is perfectly aligned under King Jesus, since the devil was displaced from there (Rev. 12:7-12).
Consequently, when someone on earth wants to bring the influence of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven, Satan erupts with fear and anger against them since he doesn't want to be thrown out of another place!
This is why it seems as though a person following the will of God will sometimes have the most difficult tests, trials and resistance, as opposed to some saints who are casual seekers of God. Satan is no dummy, why should he attack a Christian who is a bad example to others and who is already deceived and in his grip? He will focus the most on those who are the biggest threats to his desire, to do a power grab from God over the earth realm! Remember: God gave Adam a commission to have His rule over the whole earth (Gen. 1:28), and immediately after that the devil came and convinced both Adam and Eve to disobey God and abandon their posts as God's vice regents over the earth (Gen. 3:1-8).
Since that time Satan has been jealously attempting to protect his control over the earthly realm he stole through subverting Adam, including its systems of government, commerce, media, the arts, science and education. Those who attempt to bring God's influence in these realms will most likely experience some of the highest levels of satanic resistance. The apostle Paul had a messenger from Satan follow him everywhere he went that caused riots and persecutions (2 Cor. 13:1-8), only because he was turning the present world system upside down (Acts 17:7).
So, if you are sold out for God, don't be discouraged when you are attacked or allow yourself to be deceived into thinking that the only reason you are in intense spiritual warfare or tribulation is because you may have missed God. It may be the opposite. You are being targeted because you are hitting the divine bull's eye! This is why Paul admonished believers to stand strong in the Lord: "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and the rulers of darkness in high places" (Ephesians 6:10-13). Notice: Paul said "our struggle" meaning he was including himself in this struggle. Every time there was an open door for ministry he had many adversaries. This is a biblical principle (read 1 Corinthians 16:9).
Do not ever think that just because God is calling you to do something that it will be easy. Jesus did the will of God and He was crucified, and church history tells us Paul was beheaded! It's not how many years we live, but what we do with the years we live that matters!
So, what do we do when we are in a time of spiritual warfare that Paul calls "the day of evil" in Ephesians 6:13? Paul tells us in this passage to be strong in the Lord and to stand firm; in other words, do not quit (Eph. 6:10-13).
The apostle Peter also tells us to resist the devil, standing firm in the faith (1 Pet. 5:9). Peter knows firsthand that faith in God is the key to standing firm in the midst of the day of evil because, when he denied Christ three times, Jesus prayed for him that his "faith" would not fail (Luke 22:31-32).
So, do not be afraid when you are in tribulation, because Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33)!

Crack in the Armor of God?

If your armor is intact, then Satan and his demons will not be able to penetrate your armor. But if there's even a minute crack in it, then Satan and his Kingdom of Evil will be able to get through your armor. Do you find yourself giving in to temptation when you really want to overcome? Are you ever discouraged? We all face these moments. But clothed in the whole armor God, the weakest of His children is more than a match for Satan. In Jesus, clothed in God’s invincible armor, you will “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” You will “be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:10, 11). Check your armor daily. Your armor should be nicely worn and scarred, this shows the enemy that you are not afraid of a fight. But whatever you do, make sure your armor has no cracks.
