Deliverancexorcisms.com | The Children’s Bread Deliverance Ministry “But even if we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” — Galatians 1:8 (NKJV) Cults are spiritual traps that operate in deception, control, and fear. Though they often appear religious or even “Christian,” they lead their followers away from biblical truth and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. As a deliverance minister, I have worked with many individuals who have escaped cults—wounded, spiritually broken, and in need of healing. This article will equip you to identify cults, recognize spiritual manipulation, and walk in freedom through Christ. What Is a Cult? A cult is any group that deviates from orthodox biblical Christianity and often centers around a charismatic leader, extra-biblical revelation, or authoritarian control. Cults typically:
Real-World Example: Abdullah Hashem and Cult Leadership: One example of a modern cult leader is Abdullah Hashem, who has been accused of establishing a group that exhibits cult-like characteristics. Former members and observers have reported manipulation, authoritarian control, unbiblical teachings, and exploitation. Allegedly, he used his influence to present himself as a divine messenger or enlightened teacher, gradually gaining total control over the lives of his followers. This pattern of spiritual abuse is a hallmark of cult leadership. Important Note: The purpose of sharing this example is not to condemn individuals but to help believers recognize spiritual danger. The Bible tells us to “test the spirits” (1 John 4:1) and to beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7:15). Biblical Signs of a Cult:
Symptoms of Cult Involvement:
How to Break Free from a Cult 1. Recognize the Deception: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to you. John 16:13 says He will guide you into all truth. 2. Compare All Teachings to the Bible Acts 17:11 commends the Bereans who searched the Scriptures daily to test what they heard. 3. Renounce Ungodly Covenants and Soul Ties Prayer: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce all agreements, vows, and soul ties made with [name of group or leader]. I break every ungodly covenant and command all spirits of control, fear, and deception to leave me now in Jesus’ name.” 4. Seek Deliverance and Inner Healing Spiritual abuse leaves deep wounds. Many people need deliverance ministry to break spiritual strongholds that formed through the cult. 5. Recommit Your Life to Jesus Alone Your Savior is not a leader or a group—it is Jesus Christ alone. John 14:6 declares that He is the only way. 6. Get Connected to a Healthy Church A Bible-believing, Spirit-led church will help you heal and grow. You are not meant to walk alone. Final Thoughts: Freedom Is Possible If you have been involved in a cult—whether knowingly or unknowingly—know this: freedom is possible in Jesus Christ. No group can save you, no man can replace the authority of God's Word, and no fear has power over a child of God who walks in truth. If you need help or prayer, our ministry is here to support you. In Ezekiel 13:17-23, the prophet is given a direct word from the Lord concerning women who practice witchcraft and hunt souls. These were not just ordinary women—they were false prophetesses who operated in deception, casting spells, sewing charms on garments, and making veils for people’s heads in order to ensnare them spiritually. Their ultimate goal? To hunt souls.
“Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly...” — Ezekiel 13:20 (KJV) These “pillows” mentioned in the King James Version are likely amulets, charms, or magic bands—tools used in witchcraft. These women were attempting to manipulate the destiny of others, offering false hope to the wicked and discouraging the righteous. They traded people’s lives for handfuls of barley and scraps of bread—cheap payments for such a high cost: a human soul. Soul-Hunting: A Spiritual Crime: In the spirit realm, the soul represents a person’s identity, will, mind, and emotions. To catch or trap a soul is to bind that person spiritually, manipulating their life through curses, divination, and demonic agreements. This is not just metaphor—it is real spiritual bondage. In modern deliverance ministry, we often encounter individuals whose lives have been spiritually hijacked. They feel disconnected from God, emotionally fragmented, directionless, or controlled by invisible forces. These symptoms may be the result of soul hunting—spiritual traps set by witches, psychics, or occultists who operate much like the women in Ezekiel 13. Veils and Manipulation: “And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die...” — Ezekiel 13:19 (KJV) These women also placed veils over people’s heads—symbolic of spiritual blindness and deception. Veils in Scripture can signify covering, but when used by the enemy, they represent manipulation, confusion, and false coverings that prevent someone from seeing the truth. In deliverance, we remove these demonic veils through prayer, repentance, and the power of the Holy Spirit, so that the person can see clearly and walk in the truth of God’s Word. God Is Against the Soul-Hunters: One of the most powerful verses in this passage is Ezekiel 13:20, where the Lord says, “Behold, I am against your pillows… and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.” God is not passive about this. He actively opposes those who practice witchcraft and soul manipulation. He declares deliverance for those who have been caught—He will set the captives free. A Call to Spiritual Awareness: We live in a time where witchcraft is being glamorized. From TikTok witches to New Age influencers, many are openly promoting rituals, charms, and spells as harmless or even beneficial. But the Word of God exposes the truth: witchcraft hunts souls. Deliverance ministers must take this warning seriously. Souls are still being hunted today. But through the authority of Jesus Christ, we can break the chains, remove the veils, and cancel the assignments of darkness. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32 Ezekiel 13 is not just a warning—it is also a promise of divine intervention. God sees what witches and occultists are doing in the secret. He knows the manipulation, and He is raising up warriors in this generation who will set the captives free in Jesus’ name. If you or someone you know is experiencing spiritual bondage, don’t stay silent. Seek deliverance. The power of Jesus Christ is greater than every curse, charm, or spell. “He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces.” — Psalm 107:14 By Pastor Miguel Bustillos
In today’s spiritual battlefield, one of the most dangerous fronts is the human mind. While many focus on physical oppression or overt spiritual manifestations, Satan often wages his war in a more subtle but equally destructive way—through psychological attacks. The mind is the gateway to the soul, and if the enemy can gain control over your thoughts, he can influence your emotions, decisions, and even your spiritual destiny. As believers, we are not powerless. Scripture gives us clear strategies to recognize and overcome these mental attacks. Below are practical and spiritual steps to stop the psychological warfare of Satan and reclaim your mind for Christ. 1. Recognize the Enemy’s Tactics: Satan’s strategy is ancient and calculated. Jesus called him “a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). He plants seeds of:
2. Renew Your Mind Daily with the Word: Romans 12:2 tells us to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This is not a one-time event but a daily discipline. When Satan attacks your thoughts, respond with God’s truth:
3. Take Every Thought Captive: 2 Corinthians 10:5 commands us to “take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” Not every thought that enters your mind comes from you. When you identify a thought that is fearful, accusatory, or discouraging, stop and ask:
4. Guard Your Mind Through Prayer and Praise: Philippians 4:6-7 gives us a powerful key: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Prayer invites the presence of God. Praise silences the enemy (Psalm 8:2). When you’re under attack, don’t stay silent—pray, praise, and declare God’s promises until peace returns. 5. Put on the Helmet of Salvation: The armor of God includes the helmet of salvation (Ephesians 6:17), which protects your mind. This helmet reminds you of:
6. Break Ungodly Soul Ties and Curses: Sometimes psychological torment is rooted in unbroken soul ties, generational curses, or trauma. These give the enemy legal access to harass your thoughts. In these cases, deliverance and inner healing are necessary. James 5:16 encourages us to confess and pray for one another that we may be healed. If you feel trapped in obsessive, tormenting thoughts, it may be time to seek prayer with a trained deliverance minister. 7. Stay Connected to a Faith Community: Isolation is dangerous. The enemy often isolates the mind before he devours the soul. Stay connected to believers who can pray with you, speak truth to you, and help you discern the enemy’s lies. Hebrews 10:25 reminds us to “not forsake the assembling of ourselves together… but encourage one another.” You don’t have to live in mental torment. Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). The enemy attacks the mind because he knows the power of a renewed, Christ-centered believer. But through the Word, prayer, spiritual authority, and deliverance, you can walk in peace, clarity, and victory. “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” — Isaiah 26:3 If you're struggling with tormenting thoughts and want prayer or deliverance, reach out to our ministry today. www.deliverancexorcisms.com In deliverance ministry, one of the most cunning and destructive spirits we confront is Asmodeus, often referred to as the demon of lust. This powerful principality works tirelessly to corrupt the soul, destroy marriages, and enslave individuals to perversion and sexual immorality. Asmodeus is not just a mythological figure or fictional character; he is a real demonic presence whose influence is evident in the growing sexual depravity and confusion in today’s world. Who is Asmodeus? The name Asmodeus appears in ancient Jewish texts, most notably in the Book of Tobit (part of the Apocrypha), where he is portrayed as a demon who kills the husbands of Sarah before they can consummate their marriage. He is traditionally associated with lust, jealousy, and vengeance—especially in romantic or sexual relationships. While not named in the canonical Bible, the spirit of lust and sexual corruption that Asmodeus embodies is addressed extensively in Scripture. Jesus warned in Matthew 5:28: "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart." The Works of Asmodeus Asmodeus operates under the kingdom of darkness as a strongman of lust. His tactics include:
This spirit enslaves both men and women through unclean soul ties, defiling dreams, and obsessive thoughts. Often, those under Asmodeus’ influence feel deep shame and guilt, yet struggle to break free, even when they are believers. Biblical Signs of His Influence Some signs that a person may be under the influence of Asmodeus include:
The Goal of Asmodeus: Destruction Asmodeus comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). His goal is to pollute the temple of the Holy Spirit—your body—and ultimately separate you from God’s presence. He knows that if he can enslave a believer in lust, it will bring shame, spiritual stagnation, and even disqualification from ministry. Deliverance from Asmodeus Praise God, there is freedom through the blood of Jesus Christ! Steps to Break Free:
Asmodeus may be powerful, but he is no match for the name of Jesus. Freedom is not only possible—it is promised to those who seek it in Christ. If you or someone you know is struggling with lust, know that you are not alone. There is healing, restoration, and deliverance available. At The Children’s Bread Deliverance Ministry, we have helped thousands find freedom from the chains of lust, perversion, and demonic oppression. Need Help? www.deliverancexorcisms.com In a recent teaching, Mark Chase of Invicta Ministries (Fort Lauderdale) brought to light a troubling mindset that is creeping into the modern Church—especially among believers who dismiss the possibility of demonic influence simply because they are “born again.” This same attitude was present in John 8:33, when the Pharisees responded to Jesus’ offer of freedom by saying: “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been in bondage to anyone.” They claimed spiritual heritage, but ignored spiritual reality. Despite their long history of captivity—Egypt, Babylon, and Roman rule—they still insisted they had no bondage. Their pride blinded them to their true condition. And today, many Christians echo this same deception: “I’m saved. I’m born again. I can’t have a demon.” Spirit, Soul, and Body — Understanding the Difference It is crucial to understand the triune nature of man: 1 Thessalonians 5:23 says: “May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless…” Spirit – This is the part of us that is reborn at salvation. It is sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13) and belongs to God. Soul – This includes our mind, will, and emotions. It is not automatically renewed at salvation and must be sanctified (Romans 12:2). Body – This is the physical temple. It can be defiled and is susceptible to sickness, oppression, and even demonic attack. So when we say a Christian cannot have a demon, what we really should be saying is this: “A Christian’s spirit cannot be possessed by a demon—but their soul or body can absolutely be oppressed, afflicted, or even inhabited.” Demons do not enter the spirit of a born-again believer—they exploit the soul wounds, trauma, unforgiveness, and open doors in the mind and body. This is why so many Christians continue to suffer from depression, addictions, lust, chronic illness, confusion, torment, and more—even though they’ve accepted Christ. Pride that Says “I Cannot Be in Bondage” Just like the Pharisees, some believers declare with boldness: “I have never been in bondage. I’m a child of God.” But the fruit of their lives tells a different story. They are saved but tormented. They are anointed but angry. They worship on Sunday but secretly struggle Monday through Saturday. When they hear the message of deliverance, they often reject it—not because it’s unbiblical, but because it confronts their pride. John 8:34 – “Jesus answered them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin.’” Being born again is the beginning of a journey—not the end of sanctification. Deliverance is not about questioning someone’s salvation; it’s about confronting what is still attached to the soul and body and has not yet been surrendered to Christ. Deliverance is for the Believer Jesus said in Mark 7:27, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” Deliverance is the children’s bread. It is for God’s people, not outsiders. The unsaved need salvation. The saved need freedom. Many of the people Jesus delivered were believers in God—but still afflicted. Likewise, the early Church cast out demons from believers (Acts 8, Acts 16). Paul warned of doctrines of demons in the Church, not just the world (1 Timothy 4:1). The Pharisee Spirit in the Church Today Mark Chase rightly pointed out that pride has become a mask for many. Rather than humble themselves and seek healing, they declare, “That could never happen to me—I’m saved.” But this was the exact heart posture that kept the Pharisees from receiving freedom from the very Messiah they were waiting for. A Christian may have the Holy Spirit in their spirit—but still have unclean spirits tormenting their mind or body. This doesn’t mean they’re not saved. It means there is unfinished work of sanctification and healing. Humility Brings Freedom Jesus said in John 8:36, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” But He cannot free someone who refuses to admit they’re bound. Deliverance is not about shame—it’s about freedom. It’s for born-again believers who want to walk in total healing across their spirit, soul, and body. Let us not make the mistake of the Pharisees. Let us walk in humility, recognize our need, and invite Jesus not just to save us—but to cleanse us completely. By Pastor Miguel Bustillos
If you need deliverance or exorcism ministry: www.deliverancexorcisms.com “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV) Satan does not wait until a person is an adult to begin his attacks. In fact, children are some of his primary targets. Why? Because he understands the power of identity, destiny, and early spiritual formation. When Satan can influence a child, he can shape the course of that child’s future—away from God and toward destruction. In this blog, we will expose the enemy’s tactics against children and offer biblical strategies for protection and deliverance. 1. Through Early Trauma and Abuse: Many demonic attachments begin with trauma. Sexual abuse, neglect, rejection, and emotional wounds open doors in the spiritual realm.
2. By Targeting Identity: Satan loves to confuse and corrupt identity—especially gender and self-worth. Children today are bombarded with messages that challenge God’s design.
3. Through Media and Entertainment: What children watch, hear, and engage with has spiritual consequences. Many cartoons, video games, books, and movies are laced with witchcraft, occult symbols, and demonic themes disguised as fantasy.
4. Generational Curses and Ancestral Spirits: Children often inherit spiritual strongholds from their parents or ancestors—addictions, rage, fear, witchcraft, and more.
5. Through Isolation and Rejection: Many children feel unloved, unseen, or unimportant. Satan uses these lies to build strongholds of loneliness and worthlessness.
6. By Attacking the Family Structure: Broken homes, fatherlessness, and constant conflict create emotional instability. Satan thrives in environments of disorder.
7. Through Occult Objects and Toys: Many toys and gifts, especially those tied to the occult or dark symbolism (like “spirit animals,” tarot cards, or cursed jewelry), can serve as demonic portals.
How to Protect Children from Satan’s Attacks
The enemy is aggressive, but Jesus is victorious. We must be watchful and intentional in protecting the next generation. As parents, pastors, and spiritual leaders, we are stewards of the little ones entrusted to us. “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 19:14 (NKJV) Written by Pastor Miguel Bustillos
To receive deliverance ministry or exorcism, go to www.pastormiguel.com The battleground of spiritual warfare is the mind. Scripture warns us to “be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). One of Satan's greatest strategies is to infiltrate and corrupt the human mind, where thoughts are formed, decisions are made, and spiritual discernment takes place. When demons target a person, their goal is not only to torment the body but to devastate the mind. 1. Planting Deceptive Thoughts Demons begin by whispering lies and planting seeds of deception. These thoughts may sound like the person's own inner voice:
2. Creating Mental Bondage Once lies are accepted, strongholds begin to form. A stronghold is a fortress of wrong thinking that opposes the knowledge of God. The apostle Paul wrote, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” (2 Corinthians 10:4). These strongholds may manifest as:
3. Distorting Reality Another way demons destroy the mind is by distorting how a person perceives themselves, others, and God. This can lead to paranoia, hallucinations, or delusions. A once-loving person may become suspicious, cold, and isolated. Their ability to reason and discern spiritual truth is weakened. Romans 1:28 speaks of those who are given over to a “reprobate mind” — a mind void of sound judgment. 4. Feeding on Trauma Demons often enter through trauma and use it to deepen mental torment. Abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exposure to witchcraft can open doors. The demonic kingdom will replay the trauma over and over, locking the person into a cycle of emotional and mental torment. This prevents healing and drives the person deeper into despair, bitterness, and mental fragmentation. 5. Blocking the Mind from Receiving Truth The enemy also seeks to block the mind from understanding or accepting the Gospel. 2 Corinthians 4:4 explains, “The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.” Even Christians can experience this in areas where deception or unforgiveness has taken root. Hope for the Oppressed The good news is that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Through deliverance and inner healing, the demonic influence over the mind can be broken. The renewing of the mind (Romans 12:2) is not just a psychological process—it’s a spiritual transformation brought by the Holy Spirit. If you are tormented in your mind, do not suffer in silence. Seek help through prayer, deliverance ministry, and counseling. Jesus is still setting captives free today. Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com In deliverance ministry, one of the most misunderstood aspects is the connection between sickness and demonic activity. Not all sickness is demonic, but there are times when an illness may have a spiritual root. As ministers of deliverance, it is crucial to have spiritual discernment, guided by the Holy Spirit, to identify when a sickness is caused by demonic influence and to know how to respond biblically. What is Demonic Sickness? Demonic sickness refers to physical or mental ailments that are caused or intensified by demonic spirits. These spirits can enter through open doors such as sin, trauma, generational curses, occult involvement, unforgiveness, and more. The Bible clearly shows that spirits can afflict the body: "And behold, there was a woman who had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself... Jesus said, 'Woman, you are freed from your disability.'" (Luke 13:11-12, ESV) In this passage, the woman was not just physically ill—she had a spirit of infirmity. Jesus did not prescribe medication; He cast out the spirit. How to Identify Demonic Sickness: While only the Holy Spirit can give full revelation, here are some signs and patterns that may indicate a demonic root to a sickness: 1. Incurable or Mysterious Illness: When medical professionals cannot diagnose or treat a condition effectively despite numerous tests and interventions, it may be spiritual. 2. Sudden Onset Without Natural Cause: If an illness appears out of nowhere with no logical explanation—especially after a traumatic event or occult exposure—it could be spiritual. 3. Cycles and Patterns: Sicknesses that repeat in cycles or run in the family (generational curses) may be rooted in demonic activity. 4. Symptoms That Manifest During Prayer or Worship: If symptoms worsen or manifest during worship, prayer, or reading Scripture, it's a sign the sickness may be spiritual in nature. 5. Nighttime Affliction: Spiritual attacks that occur during sleep—choking, heaviness, paralysis, pain—are common signs of spiritual affliction. 6. Accompanying Demonic Manifestations: If the sick person also experiences demonic dreams, voices, thoughts of suicide, fear, or torment, this suggests a deeper spiritual issue. What to Do if You Suspect Demonic Sickness1. Pray for Discernment: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the root cause. Not every sickness is demonic—some are physical or emotional—but the Lord reveals truth to those who ask. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God..." (James 1:5) 2. Lead in Repentance: If sin or disobedience has opened a door, lead the person in repentance and renunciation. Confession breaks legal rights demons may have. "Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed." (James 5:16) 3. Command the Spirit to Leave: With the authority of Christ, command the spirit of infirmity to leave in Jesus' name. "In my name they will cast out demons..." (Mark 16:17) 4. Close the Doors: Teach the person to close all doors to the enemy—cutting ties with the occult, forgiving others, rejecting fear, and renewing the mind with the Word. 5. Maintain the Deliverance: Healing must be maintained through faith, obedience, and spiritual discipline. Encourage daily prayer, Scripture reading, and accountability. "Go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." (John 5:14) Final Thoughts: Demonic sickness is real, and Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). As deliverance ministers, we are called to continue His work. Discernment, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit are essential tools in identifying and addressing these hidden afflictions. Never fear the enemy—Christ has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Let us walk in power, love, and boldness as we set the captives free in Jesus' name. The Importance of Listening to the Direction of a Deliverance Minister to Maintain Your Deliverance3/14/2025 Pastor Miguel Bustillos
Deliverance Minister and Exorcist Website: www.deliverancexorcisms.com Deliverance is a powerful and transformative experience, freeing individuals from spiritual bondage and oppression. However, many people make the mistake of believing that once they have been set free, their battle is over. In reality, deliverance is just the beginning. Maintaining your freedom requires obedience, discipline, and the willingness to follow the guidance of a trained deliverance minister. Why You Must Follow Instructions from a Deliverance MinisterA seasoned deliverance minister has spent years studying spiritual warfare and has been trained in discerning the tactics of the enemy. Their guidance is not based on personal opinion but on biblical principles and experience in spiritual warfare. Here are a few key reasons why their direction is essential for maintaining your deliverance: 1. Spiritual Wisdom and DiscernmentDeliverance ministers are equipped with spiritual discernment that helps them recognize demonic tactics. They can identify potential areas of vulnerability that you might overlook. Ignoring their advice can open the door for the enemy to regain access to your life. 2. Post-Deliverance Instructions Protect You from RepossessionJesus warned in Matthew 12:43-45 that when an unclean spirit leaves a person, it seeks to return. If it finds the house (your soul) empty, swept clean, and unguarded, it brings back seven spirits worse than itself. Deliverance ministers provide post-deliverance instructions to ensure that your spiritual "house" is filled with the Word of God, prayer, and a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. 3. Avoiding Old Habits and Sinful LifestylesMany who receive deliverance fall back into old habits, believing they are strong enough to handle temptation on their own. A deliverance minister will help you establish new, godly habits to replace the destructive ones that gave demons a legal right to enter your life. 4. Establishing a Strong Prayer LifePrayer is a weapon that strengthens your spirit and keeps demonic influences at bay. Your deliverance minister may provide specific prayers or fasting recommendations to help fortify your spiritual life. Neglecting these instructions can leave you spiritually weak and vulnerable to renewed attacks. 5. Accountability and Spiritual CoveringDeliverance ministers act as spiritual shepherds who guide you through the process of healing and freedom. Having an accountability partner in your journey is crucial because the enemy will always attempt to isolate you and attack when you are spiritually weak. Common Mistakes That Lead to Losing Deliverance
If you have undergone deliverance, I encourage you to honor the process and listen carefully to your deliverance minister. Their counsel is not just helpful—it is essential to your spiritual survival. Are you struggling to maintain your deliverance? Need guidance on how to walk in lasting freedom?
